ARTchitectural Christmas

Nicolas Cloiseau is in the Christmas spirit and all he wanted for Christmas was to create a collection not just graceful but also architecturally significant.

Openwork layers offer glimpses of intricate mendiant ornaments suspended in air, light, and space; he brought to life a collection of three marvellous stylistic Christmas trees, an architectural feast.

Transparent and ethereal, the fluid lines hold a trove of details. Flickering between the spirit of geometric shapes and the spirit of Christmas, making a bold statement on art and gourmandise. A forest of symbols laden with pinecones and ornaments ready to be hung.

He has envisioned a tree that stands out, reaching for the sky, gently swaying in an imaginary breeze; a tree to defy the limits of chocolate, banishing all constraints and limits. Twenty-five rings create a structure almost transparent in its elegance. Its twinkling decorations bow to the whims of the wind. From imaginary branches, nut filled chocolate drops hold on by a thread while being illuminated by a farandole of twinkling garlands.

Continuing this architectural movement, the chocolate ornament is the epitome of finesse. Its lacework of mendiant weaves the spirit of Christmas into the heart of this tree of wonder with clean lines. The nuts, each one individually placed, all dressed up in gold, add nuance to the chocolate and reflect the magic of Christmas decorations.
