The Carrousel du Louvre is hosting the photo exhibition "Summer in Paris" by Victoria Bee.
From July 13th to August 31st, the Belgian paper and set design clichés will be in the spotlight at the Carrousel du Louvre. Through her photographs, she wants to share her experience of a summer day in the heart of the Parisian capital, in partnership with 7 retail stores including La Maison du Chocolat.
"A day in Paris is in the spirit of each of us a journey in itself, inspiring, exciting and greedy ... from the morning croissant to the last glass of wine in the evening. The set of visuals, composed of all these little moments put end-to-end, offers an illustration of what the collective imagination means by "living in Paris". Victoria BEE - Photographer
Descrition of the visuals:
Each composition represents a key moment (given hour) of this day: breakfast, daily events of the day, etc. Each product is staged in a colorful composition, entirely recreated in paper to integrate and unite perfectly all products. To accentuate the surrealist style, the products are larger than the reality to highlight each of them in the compositions. The style is uncluttered but colorful, and also integrated into the picture a little touch of the classic blue-white-red. The product can keep its original colors (but in paper version). In each image, the only real element will be a female hand holding one of the elements in the image (a fruit, a postcard, etc.)
